André has always enjoyed photographing sexy models in erotic clothing and was able to incorporate that into his work, not only for his magazine assignments but also his personal projects. He takes a single idea or a complete outfit with a story line of erotica. As the art director for Bizarre magazine and a contributing photographer with Penthouse® magazine he was able to bring some of his idea’s to a reality by shooting the 26th Anniversary centerfold Ashley Williams for Penthouse® and the “Queen of Burlesque” Dita Von Teese. Plus many other projects.

Penthouse® Magazine
Being a ful time fashion photographer André could not spend a lot of time working on projects with Penthouse® However it was a great opportunity for André to show off his ability to work with sexy girls to create erotic content. He was also able to visit the home of the original owner of Penthouse magazine Bob Guccione who at the time had an amazing art collection with over 30 million dollars of art just going up the wall of his staircase.
Platinum Magazine
“I was interviewing a new model that came by my studio and with talking with her I found out that she was a dancer. I asked if she had done any nude modeling and would she be interested if done tastefully. I told her about this magazine “Platinum” that was looking for European style soft nude images and that they are also paying a nice model fee. I had this idea to shoot at a fairground location. We did find a fairground and when talking with them they gave me permission to shoot if I could shoot the day before the opening to the public. We shot at about 4.30pm with my Hasselblad® camera and a 150mm lens for these images. I used TRX 400 shot at 100 ASA. My exposure was 60sec F-8 so I could get the lights on the ride to glow in my images. We processed the B/W film in my darkroom and made all of the prints for the publication. As you can see the shots came out fantastic and the magazine went with my blue look and what we all called the money shot became the centerfold.” André Felix
